Wow. Swimming is hard. Swimming is really hard when your not used to swimming all the time. Hopefully swimming will get easier. It will be a long summer if it doesn't.

About Me

I fell in love with Triathlon a few years ago back in Ontario. I stumbled upon it when I was training for my first marathon and to say the least, it has changed my life. Actually, it was training for my first marathon (Honolulu 2006) that changed my life. It was the first time I had set goals for myself that at the time seemed unattainable and near impossible. I struggled, I perservered and in the end, I succeeded. The challenges I faced and overcame were like nothing I had come up against ever before and I feel I owe it to the lessons learned in my training as a Triathlete that I am able to overcome so many of life's little challenges. Back in 2006 I made it part of my 5 year plan to complete the Ironman. This blog will record my journey to acheiving that goal at Ironman Canada in 2010.
